Jervis Bay is famous for its beautiful beaches, gorgeous national parks and wildlife and is a great place for a relaxing family holiday.

Huskisson White Sands Tourist Park is centrally located to visit all of the great attractions of Jervis Bay. Our convenient location makes dining out, shopping and entertainment a walk in the park, literally.

Our park boasts full beach frontage and is located only a short stroll along the beach or through open parkland to the Huskisson Township which offers great facilities. The town itself overlooks picturesque Currumbene Creek, whose waterways and public wharf are a bustle of fishing boats, sailing craft, dolphin watch cruises and dive and fishing charter operators.

In Huskisson, the hub of Jervis Bay, you can enjoy shopping for crafts, gifts, clothes and more. You will also find two modern Clubs ( which offer their own entertainment and night life ), restaurants, cafes, the local Husky Pub, as well as the internally renovated Historic Husky Pictures - where you can relax and enjoy the latest movies in comfort. All are within walking distance along the main street of Huskisson.

Other attractions within walking distance include an interesting antique and second hand shop that doubles as a tourist center, a 50m sea pool filled with salt water from Jervis Bay, the Lady Denman Museum which offers Koori crafts and exhibitions, local historical displays, the Wirreecoo walking trail, a mangrove boardwalk and a BBQ and picnic area with excellent amenities.

You can choose from a variety of different outdoor activities in and around Huskisson including dolphin watching which departs daily to get you up close and personal with the dolphins. There is also whale and seal watching (from June through to November), deep sea fishing, or line fishing from most points along the shore, diving, snorkeling, surfing, sea kayaking or charter a boat.

If you prefer to keep your feet on land, there is bushwalking both locally and in the nearby Booderee National Park, beach walking, lazing in the sun, bird watching, golf at two local clubs, lawn bowls, mountain bike riding, cycling, tennis and squash.

Down the road there is a leisure center where the children can swim in a heated pool and play on the 40m waterslide, while you enjoy a drink or snack from the café or workout in the gym.

You can go sailing at Sanctuary Point, have a paint ball skirmish at Tomerong, visit a lavender farm at St. Georges Basin, and at Falls Creek you can go horse riding, canoeing or try your skill at archery. A little further a field you'll also find several wineries.

For those who want a natural experience, Koori from the Wreck Bay Community offer tours that give a unique insight to Australian history. You can learn all about Aboriginal culture on a fascinating walkabout tour, taste natural Australian bush tucker and learn the mysteries of bush medicine.

At night you can watch the moon glimmer on the bay and be amazed by the thousands of stars that you never see in the city.
